"Wie mijn album recensies heeft gelezen, zal het niet verbazen dat Lord Volture een van de bands was waar ik vandaag voor kwam. Op het moment dat de band van start gaat met Never Cry Wolf wordt het mijzelf en vele anderen gelukkig snel duidelijk dat de band niet alleen op cd, maar ook live goed zijn mannetje staat. David Marcelis blijkt een zeer enthousiaste frontman te zijn die daarnaast ook nog eens alle uithalen van de albums met gemak haalt. Ondanks het feit dat een gedeelte van het publiek nog aan het wachten is op zijn eerste biertje, staan er dan ook al snel een aantal enthousiaste headbangers voor het podium die losgaan op nummers als Taiga, Wendigo, Korgon's Descent en Time Will Tell. Helaas is het programma op dit moment al iets uitgelopen waardoor de band vroegtijdig het podium moet verlaten, maar dat Lord Volture vandaag een hoop nieuwe zieltjes heeft gewonnen moge duidelijk zijn."

GLORIOUS RETURN TO VIERLINGSBEEK
It was on September 25th 2010, in the early days of LORD VOLTURE, that the band performed at Frans Wijnen's Beukfeest event in the Gryphus venue in Vierlingsbeek. The totally crazy crowds of Vierlingsbeek and the hospitality of the Beukfeest crew made us feel very warm and welcome. For all LORD VOLTURE band members that show is still one of the most memorable shows in LORD VOLTURE history.
Now, two years later LORD VOLTURE will return to Vierlingsbeek for another glorious night of traditional metal. We will be joined by our friends from MARTYR and another act yet to be confirmed. Mark September 29th in your agendas for it will be an event you don't want to miss!
