Today we released 'Taiga', the second single of our upcoming Live 'em Up! album. Taiga is now available on all the major streaming platforms and it can also be downloaded from our own Bandcamp page.
We chose for Taiga as it is one of our older and more majestic songs. With its epic intro, crunchy riffs, and sing-along choruses, it is one of those songs that will probably be part our our live set until the end of time.
Taiga was recorded back in 2014 during our set at the mighty SOS Festival in Radcliffe, Manchester in the United Kingdom. It was our first time in England (though not our first time in the UK) and we cherish a lot of wonderful memories of that night.
There are only three weeks to go until the release of Live 'em Up!. If you haven't yet, you can still pre-order the album on CD or vinyl from our webstore or our Bandcamp page and catch a signed photograph and set of custom guitar picks along with it for free.
In the meantime, we are sincerely kicking off our small run of live dates in promotion of the album. So we hope to see you at one or more of the upcoming gigs!

LINE 'EM UP! VIDEO SINGLE LAUNCHED
"Line 'em Up!", the first single and official music video for our upcoming Live 'em Up! album, is out now! The album can now be pre-ordered from our online store.
The single can be streamed on all the well known platforms and we have uploaded the video to our own Youtube channel. Check it out en leave a comment if you like the song and the video!
Today we have also opened the pre-order for the Live 'em Up! album. By pre-ordering the album you can support the band even before the album hits the streets. Moreover, we have some free gifts that come along with the first 100 CDs and/or vinyl copies sold. The free gifts include a set of custom Live 'em Up! guitar picks (1 Paul Marcelis signature guitar pick and 1 Simon Geurts signature bass pick) and a double-sided post card that is handsigned by both the current and the old band members of LORD VOLTURE.
Live 'em Up! is available in three physical formats:
* VINYL - 140 grams black vinyl with a full colour double-sided inlay. The vinyl edition is hand numbered and limited to 250 units!
* CD - Digisleeve with an 8-page booklet

LINE 'EM UP! VIDEO SINGLE ANNOUNCEMENT
With the release date of our brand new live album "Live 'em Up!" (October 12th) coming closer, we are excited to announce that we will be releasing the first single for the album in less than two weeks time!
The song chosen for the new single is "Line 'em Up!". The single will be available from August 31st on all major streaming platforms. You can already presave the single on Spotify. Moreover, we will release a full music video for this single, so also make sure you subscribe to our Youtube channel!
And that is not all. The date of the first single will also coincide with the opening date of the pre-order for the Live 'em Up! physical album. The live album will appear on limited vinyl and on CD. The first 100 copies will come with a few goodies especially selected for our hardcore fans.
The cover artwork for the Line 'em Up! single was designed by our own drummer, Mr Erik Verheij himself. Check it out!

LIVE 'EM UP! ALBUM DETAILS AND COVER ARTWORK
Here it is, the next and long overdue LORD VOLTURE release! "Live 'em Up!" will be released on 12th October 2023 via Freya Records.
Live 'em Up! was recorded at various gigs and tours in Europe during the first decade in the existence of LORD VOLTURE. To be specific, it contains tracks from our sets at SOS Festival 2014 in Manchester, UK, from Wizzfest 2016 in Lotenhulle, Belgium, and from De Verlichte Geest in Roeselare, also Belgium, recorded while we were on the Reign Of Darkness Over Europe Tour with CIRCLE II CIRCLE in 2016. The audience samples used on this album were taken from recordings and fan footage of roughly 60 different European Lord Volture shows.
Especially in the years 2012-2016 the band was on the road a lot, playing close to 200 shows across 19 different countries. Some of the highlights of that period include our European tours in support of CIRCLE II CIRCLE and TIM RIPPER OWENS, festival appearances such as SOS Festival in Manchester and Wildfire Festival in Scotland, opening for established acts like Y&T, SANCTUARY, PRIMAL FEAR and FIREWIND, and delivering the steel to remote places in countries such as Lithuania, Estonia, Slovakia, Spain and Ireland. So many adventures lie in our past and so many others are yet to come. Playing live in front of our fans was, is and ever will be one of our greatest pleasures. We believe that we were able to capture that same energy on this live record. So, set your volume to 11, and Live ‘em Up!
