In the summer of 2024 we had a run of shows where we were supporting RAVEN and FLOTSAM AND JETSAM in the Benelux and Germany. It has taken us a while, but we made an after action report of that tour. Check it out!
Simon had to sit this one out because of a shoulder injury. Louis Verheij took his place on bass for these shows! And while Louis did an incredible job for which we are extremely thankful, we will be glad when Simon returns to the stage with us. Now, the good news is that Simon is recovering well, and we are already rehearsing with Simon for our next show at the Meesterlijk Metaal festival in Almere on December 7th!

LIVE ON THE AIR @ RADIO L1 CULTUURCAFE
LORD VOLTURE will perform live music on the air at the Cultuurcafé show on radio L1!
Over the years we've played hundreds of shows all over Europe, our studio releases have received loads of airtime and we've participated in a number of radio interviews in the Netherlands, Italy, Ireland and the UK, but playing live on the radio will be a first-time experience for LORD VOLTURE. Never shy from trying something new, we already look forward to it!
The live radio broadcast will take place on Saturday October 26 from 12:15-13:00 CEST. We will be playing a mixed selection of songs from all our albums as well as answering any questions from our hosts at L1 Cultuurcafé.
Now the Summer of Steel Tour is over we're taking a short break during the month September. We will be back in October for two Benelux shows with Bill Beadle's SACRILEGE!
The first of the two shows will take place at the Ragnarok Live Club in Opitter, Belgium. It will only be LORD VOLTURE's second appearance there, although we have a long history with the venue's owners Koen and Jeke, going all the way back to the days of music club Jan Hertog and the cruise boat events '2000 Tons of Metal' and 'Halloween Cruise'.
The second show will bring us to the metal capital Eindhoven, which also happens to be the place of birth of both David and Paul, as well as Simons place of residence. So it is kind of a home town gig for LORD VOLTURE. Moreover, we are happy to return to Niek van Rixel and his excellent crew at Café The Jack for the sixth(!) time.

SUMMER OF STEEL TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT
That's right. LORD VOLTURE are going on tour with FLOTSAM AND JETSAM! We are looking forward a lot to sharing the stage with these legendary thrashers and to returning to our fanbase in Germany and Belgium.
Last Sunday we opened for RAVEN during their show in Tilburg, the Netherlands. Next week Monday to Thursday we will link up with FLOTSAM AND JETSAM to play the cities of Frankfurt and Bochum in Germany and Kortrijk in Belgium. Then, on Friday in the same week, we will support RAVEN again in Bilzen, Belgium. Finally, we will close the busy month of August at the Popelucht Festival in Etten-Leur, the Netherlands. The Summer of Steel has begun!!

CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT: TILBURG, NETHERLANDS
Following our recent announcement that LORD VOLTURE will support RAVEN at the South of Heaven club in Belgium, we're excited to share with you that we will join RAVEN on another of their Benelux gigs!
Grab your calendars, for on August 4th RAVEN and LORD VOLTURE will bring the steel to the Hall of Fame venue in the wonderful city of Tilburg, the Netherlands. This is a 'Little Devil on location' production, so many thanks to the Little Devil crew to making this possible even while their own club is being renovated!
